Inside the Bee Experience — What You'll Actually See on the Tour
Booking a tour from a photo and a description is one thing — knowing what actually happens once you arrive is another. Here's a real walkthrough of the Aruba Bee Experience, start to finish.
Suiting Up
You'll meet us at the apiary and get suited up in full protective gear before we go anywhere near the hives — no experience necessary, and it's included for everyone in the group. Kids as young as 8 are welcome.
Meeting the Hives
We keep our hives out among Aruba's native cacti and dry scrubland, not in a manicured garden — this is what real desert beekeeping looks like. You'll watch us open a hive, lift out a frame, and see thousands of bees at work up close, calmly, while we explain how the colony is structured and how we manage it sustainably in Aruba's climate.
Tasting Honey From the Comb
The highlight for most guests: tasting raw honey straight off the frame, still warm from the hive. It's a completely different experience from anything you'll get out of a jar.
Wrapping Up
We close with time to ask questions and browse our handmade products — many made with the same honey and beeswax you just saw harvested.
