Why Bees Matter to Aruba's Ecosystem
Bees are small, but their impact on Aruba's landscape is enormous. As pollinators, they help native plants like kadushi, wayaká, and divi-divi reproduce — plants that in turn support the island's birds, lizards, and other wildlife.
A Fragile Balance
Aruba's dry, arid climate means every pollinator counts. When bee populations decline, the ripple effect touches everything from wild plant diversity to the fruit trees in your backyard.
What We're Doing
Our apiary is maintained using sustainable, low-intervention practices. We harvest honey and beeswax only when hives are healthy and thriving, ensuring our bees always have enough to sustain themselves first.
If you'd like to see our hives up close, join us for the Aruba Bee Experience — a hands-on tour where you can learn how it all works.
